Tom Mamos, a dedicated lifelong resident of Concord, New Hampshire, has woven a remarkable tapestry of achievement and service throughout his career and personal life. A proud 1981 graduate of Bishop Brady High School, Tom distinguished himself as an exceptional athlete, excelling in varsity ice hockey, football, and baseball. His athletic prowess and dedication on the field left a lasting impression and set the stage for his future endeavors.
Following high school, Tom pursued his passion for ice hockey at Plymouth State College, where he continued to demonstrate his commitment to excellence. However, it was his career in commercial driving that would come to define his professional journey. Earning his Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in 1983, Tom embarked on a career that would see him accumulate over 1 million miles behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle. His unparalleled dedication to safety and professionalism earned him numerous Safe Driver awards from respected companies like Pepsi and JFE Transport.
Tom’s career evolved as he took on the role of a Commercial Driver Examiner for the state of New Hampshire. In this position, he performed hundreds of CDL examinations, assessing and ensuring the readiness of new drivers. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the industry have now paved the way for him to become a distinguished Commercial Driver Instructor. In this role, Tom imparts his 40-plus years of driving experience to aspiring commercial drivers, guiding them to become safe, skilled, and confident professionals.
