Commercial Motor Vehicle Refresher
Commercial Motor Vehicle Refresher Training is provided for individuals who either previously held a commercial driver license and wish to reobtain (if eligible), or who currently still possess a commercial driver license and are seeking instruction to become reacquainted or more familiar with operating a commercial motor vehicle. Regardless which class of commercial driver license you need or have, our goal is to provide you with the highest quality custom designed program for you specific need. We can provide you course trainings such as, Basic Commercial Motor Vehicle Law's, Theory of Instruction, Behind-the-Wheel Range and Behind-the-Wheel-Public Road as defined in 49 CFR Part 380. Should you require something else, just ask!*
*Commercial motor vehicles have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) or gross combination weight rating (GCWR), or gross vehicle weight (GVW) or gross combination weight (GCW), of 4,536 kg (10,001 pounds) or more, whichever is greater.
Trainee Requirements

Must possess the appropriate class license that your commercial motor vehicle requires.

Provide a valid D.O.T. Medical Card. We can send you to our provider if yours is expired.

Pass a D.O.T. Drug Screen with our provider.

You must be enrolled in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Commercial Driver's License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Complete a Training Agreement with Patten's Commercial Driver
Training, LLC, if you have met and passed all criteria.
